Herndon, VA, January 31, 2017 – LTS, Inc. is pleased to announce its recent award for Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (RVA) Services on the new Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS) Special Item Number (SIN) under GSA IT Schedule 70.
GSA, Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Integrated Technology Services (ITS) provides commercial IT products and services through IT Schedule 70. The $15 billion IT Schedule 70 Program is the vehicle through which federal customers can access the latest technology solutions, making it critical for requiring GSA to adapt to its customers’ new and growing services.
With cybersecurity threats on the rise, these HACS SINs allow government customers fast and reliable access to pre-vetted cybersecurity services and experts before, during, and after cyber-attacks occur. As Government systems become more and more interconnected, the need to prevent attacks and secure high-priority IT systems within the federal government is constantly growing.
Government spending on cybersecurity has increased at an average annual rate of 14.5% between FY 2006 and FY 2017, outpacing procurement in every other type of major government program. By 2022, the U.S. cybersecurity market is expected to grow to $22 Billion (Cybersecurity Ventures).
The new HACS SINs provide industry partners the opportunity to differentiate their Cybersecurity offerings from other existing IT-related services, allowing them to stand out to federal customers seeking Cybersecurity services.
