Other times it may be too late, but even then we can assist you in finding a good house to transition to, and make sure you have enough money to acquire it, rather than just winding up penniless out on the street. Either way, we help you make the best of your situation.

Aging in place:

Let's face it - as we grow old, our bodies decay. Old age means decrepit living little better than living death, right? WRONG! With the proper application of both modern technology and low-tech aids, we can construct a house for you to live in that reduces or eliminates many of the factors that contribute to deterioration. The objective is to help you be as alive and active at 85 as you are at 55, or younger...and with advancing medical technology, odds are we'll be able to do even better in 30 years. Los Trancos Systems is one of the very few specialists worldwide in this field (ignoring practitioners whose idea of "senior housing" is comparable to insane asylums). We design and construct specialty houses to allow the elderly to live independently, but still near their families and emergency services. (They're not just for the old, either. Many of the improvements are convenient practicalities for younger folk, but become much more than just "convenient" if, for example, arthritis limits your mobility.) Towards this end, we have also been developing an extensive "smart home" style network-based medical monitoring system, to detect and respond to many of the elderly's common needs.
